Breastfeeding Resources

If no one’s said it yet… heck yeah, girlfriend!

Feeding your baby - by breast, bottle, pump, or some wild mix of all three is a huge deal.

And real talk? The saying “don’t cry over spilled milk” hits a whole lot differently when you’ve just knocked over a bottle you spent 30 minutes pumping. (we get it. we really, really do.

Maybe breastfeeding is coming easy for you, and you’re soaking up every second. Maybe it’s harder than you ever imagined - tongue ties, latch struggles, supply worries, all of it. Maybe it's somewhere in between, shifting by the hour.

However you’re feeling about feeding? You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re not alone. There’s no perfect way to do this.
Only your way.
And your way is worth honoring, supporting, and celebrating.

We built this space with you in mind.
For the beautiful, complicated, messy,
magical season you're standing in.

Come as you are. Take what you need. Leave the rest.
We’re so glad you’re here.

Low Milk Supply Help

How to Tell if You Might Have Low Supply
It's normal to worry, but true low supply is less common than it feels.

  • Signs to watch for: baby not gaining weight, fewer than 6 wet diapers/day after 5 days old, fussy feedings, very short or very long feeds with no contentment after.

  • What to Do if You're Worried
Reach out to an IBCLC early. Supply is easier to support when caught sooner.
Sometimes it’s a simple tweak (like improving latch or switching sides more often) that can make all the difference.

  • Need a Boost? Try Power Pumping
If you're worried about supply and want to gently signal your body to make more milk, power pumping might help. It mimics a baby's cluster feeding - short, frequent sessions that tell your body "hey, we need more!"

    Simple Method:
➔ Pump for 20 minutes, rest for 10 minutes
➔ Pump for 10 minutes, rest for 10 minutes
➔ Pump for 10 minutes again

Try it once a day for a few days and see if you notice a difference.
(And if you're unsure if it's right for you, a lactation consultant can guide you!)

Tongue Tie, Lip Tie, & Oral Function Help

Tongue ties, lip ties, and tight oral tissues are more common than most people realize.

They can cause:

  • Shallow latch

  • Clicking sounds during feeds

  • Poor milk transfer (baby nursing often but not gaining)

  • Nipple pain or trauma

  • Gassy, fussy, or refluxy babies

If something feels "off," it's not just in your head, you're allowed to ask about it.

  • Next Step:
If needed, seek out a pediatric dentist or ENT familiar with ties. Not all providers assess ties the same. Trust your gut and advocate if you feel like something’s being missed.

One Last Thing

Some feeds will feel easy.
Some will feel endless.
Some will leave you smiling with your whole heart.
Some will leave you crying into your shirt.

Maybe you’re here with cracked and bleeding nipples, wondering if you can keep going.
Maybe you’re here, pumping and celebrating every tiny half-ounce.
Maybe you’re stuck in the middle of the 5pm cluster feeds that no one warned you would be this hard.

Wherever you are. Early, messy, triumphant, tired…
you are doing something so beautiful.
And you are not alone in it.

You’re learning each other, you and your baby.
You’re showing up with love, even when it hurts.
You’re laying down love, one feed, one pump, one day at a time.

We built this page for all of it.
The first tries. The late-night tears. The small victories that only you might notice.
And we'll keep adding to it with care - always thinking of you.

Come back anytime you need a reminder:
You’re doing an incredible thing.
And we are so, so proud of you.
